Instrumentation Technician: Entry Level
Michelson Laboratories, Inc is a food-testing laboratory that is looking to expand its Instrumentation team.
Instrumentation Laboratory Technician duties include but are not limited to: performing multiple extractions, running HPLC�s, GC�s, LC-MS�s, and doing daily calculations for results.
A successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, work well with others, work efficiently with minimal supervision, have flexible availability, and a positive attitude. Candidate must have science degree, and knowledge or classes in Food Science is a plus. This is a full-time position.

Wastewater Chemist
We are currently looking for a qualified technician to perform chemical analyses on wastewater, drinking water, and soil samples. Experience in an Environmental laboratory or related field is preferred but recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The candidate must have completed some college level chemistry courses, and a B.S. in Chemistry would be a plus, but is not necessary. Any knowledge regarding the use of: ICP, IC, GC, or GC-MS would be a plus but is not necessary. This is a fulltime position.

QA/QC Manager
Michelson Laboratories, Inc is seeking for a Quality Assurance Manager. This position requires full management and maintenance of our ISO 17025 accreditation. 5 years of chemistry laboratory experience is required. A Masters in Food Science or closely related field is a necessity. Must have knowledge of writing SOP's, auditing and monitoring training records, control charts, and GLP's. Must be able to update and maintain Quality Assurance Manual, manage proficiency testing, manage check sample programs, and run routine QA/QC meetings.

Chemistry Technician
We are looking for a qualified chemist/technician to perform proximate analyses on food and food-related samples. The applicant must have completed college level chemistry courses with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, preferred. Experience in a food-science laboratory or related field is ideal but not required. This is a full-time position.

FDA Coordinator
We are currently looking for a FDA Coordinator. This position requires a detail-oriented person, who is extremely organized, punctual, has great customer service skills, has knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel, and must be able to work well in a team-like setting.

Duties Include: Organizing FDA detention paperwork for customer, contacting the FDA, working closely with Laboratory Managers to get test results for customers, supplying the customer with price quotes for testing, and assisting the customer throughout the FDA Detention Process. No experience with the FDA is necessary, but would be a plus. This is a full-time position. 

Courier / Driver
We are currently looking for a full-time Courier/Driver. Candidates must be knowledgeable in Southern California roads and freeways. Comprehend and interpret instructions using a Thomas Guide. Follow assigned duties in a timely manner with a positive attitude. Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and overtime as required. Must have good DMV driving record. Candidates must have a High School diploma/GED. This is a full-time position.

Chemistry Manager
Michelson Laboratories is looking for a Chemistry Manager. Responsibilities will include: reviewing reports, updating SOP�s, talking to customers, advising technicians on technical matters, reviewing analytical data with technicians, making sure the chemistry department is meeting the Quality standards needed.
Must have experience in a food chemistry setting. Candidate must be responsible, self-motivated, be able to work in an extremely fast-paced industry, and must be able to adapt quickly. An overall knowledge of chemistry, including proximate analysis, instrumentation analysis, and general chemistry is a must. Candidate must have a Masters Degree or PhD in Food Science
